MedTech Capital Inc. has been exclusively retained by Innoventions, Ltd., of Israel, to assist in finding appropriate collaborative relationships to bring its innovative technology to market, initially aimed at the Urological Marketplace.
Innoventions has developed a unique platform technology adaptable to a wide range of clinical conditions involving the hollow organs, beginning with the bladder, and applicable to the stomach.
The core of Innovention’s technology is a balloon shaped device that can be inserted into the bladder where it can remain floating for extended periods, serving as a vehicle for topical release of medications at a better concentration far more effective than can be obtained through systemic administration. This device (the “InnoSphere™”) is paired with unique insertion and removal instruments for “round trip” clinical applications. The balloon and the insertion and removal instruments have been patented and further patent applications are in process.
